Why is Forklift Truck Training Important?
The LTT of Trowbridge service is not limited to simply supplying a certificate. All our forklift truck training courses include in-depth classroom instruction as well as comprehensive on-site training. Upon completion of this course, drivers are fully equipped with the required skills and knowledge so that they can safely operate a forklift truck.
Classroom and workshop sessions include the following: Training the eyes and hands to read diagrams, signs, signals and symbols; hands-on training in the operation of controls, speed control (manual gearboxes) and safety devices; starting, stopping, moving backwards and forward; turning left and right, changing direction; training in safe lifting of loads with boom or forks; safe lifting without a grab of load (or without risk of a grab); safe lowering of the load back to ground level and stopping at a standstill with no risk to injury or damage to loads/equipment/personnel.
